| Beginning Crochet with Beth Learn basic crochet techniques, how to read a pattern, several different stitches and changing colors, while you create a granny square that can be used for a pillow top or as a square in an afghan. Supplies needed: Light colored worsted weight yarn and a crochet hook size G or larger for the granny square. Patterns will be provided. | Beginning Shuttle Tatting with Lorna Learn this not yet lost art. Traditional shuttle tatting is not as hard as it looks. Come learn a new lace style and its uses. Shuttle, thread and patterns are included in class fee. Fee $30 Class meets for three 1 hour sessions. Wednesday March 10, 17 and 24 1:00 to 2:00, Stay for group afterward to practice. |
| Crochet yokes for Summer Tops with Robin Learn to convert any crochet lace edging into straps and yoke for a summery camisole top. There will be plenty of tips for measuring the lace and the formula for cutting the fabric to complete the top. Make it now wear it next month. Bring light weight cotton yarn and appropriate hook.
